In 2012 the International Winter Games for University Students will take place here also & the Village is currently being constructed with facilities which include an ice-rink.
The hotel's kitchen & bar could easily be extended if the new owners wished as planning permission is in place. The hotel has all the legal licences in place to operate. The current owner has also investigated changing the hotel into a Day Clinic or Residential Home for the Elderly as there is a definite shortage of such facilities in the area.
